Fall Fun & Festivals in Arizona’s Verde Valley:What to Expect
[00:00:00] There is a season change here. That is one of the biggest reasons that Midwesterners come to live in the Verde Valley or relocate here, because we have that sense of seasons still, without the biting winters, without the humidity of the summers, and the gigantormous, ginormous mosquitoes. What do we do in the fall here in the Verde Valley for fun?
Well, a lot. We have so much fun. This weather has changed. It's cooling down. The fall colors are coming in. Yes, we've had a lot of rain this year, so it's a little different than usual. However, we have some awesome fun things coming up. We have the Pottery Festival in Cornville. We have Dog Days of Summer, or after summer, coming up here in, think it's in Camp Verde.
We have Old [00:01:00] Town Walk on Main, which if you look through my videos, you'll see the video, uh, where they're gonna have ... They're gonna close down Main Street, Old Town Cottonwood, and they're going to have classic cars, bands, vendors, just all kinds of fun stuff going on. That's coming up. And then we also have different holiday events.
We have Tlacapaki and the Dia de Los Muertos coming up. I think that is the first weekend of November. It's a very busy time. Plus, we always have wine tasting. You never know. You might wanna jump on one of those wine bus tours and check out some of the local wineries. Or just grab your sweetie, grab your best friend, and go down to one of the, I don't know, we, I think we've got, like, 15 different wineries here in the Verde Valley.
And there's just so much more. We have Trunk or Treat. We have all kinds of things for the kids for the holidays. Just in general, [00:02:00] this time of year, because the weather's cooled down, the leaves are changing, there's a season change. Key, key, key, season change. There is a season change here. That is one of the biggest reasons that Midwesterners come to live in the Verde Valley or relocate here, because we have that sense of seasons still, without the biting winters, without the humidity of the summers, and the gigantormous, ginormous mosquitoes.
So, come. Check out what's going on here in the Verde Valley this fall, and see if any of those activities might be things that you would love to participate in if you lived here. Let me know what kind of activities you like, so that I can research those for you, or I can hook you up when you come for your home tours.
